People:
  • Manage a team of Payroll specialists in the execution of Payroll processing activities.
  • Guide & mentor the team to ensure they are performing their duties correctly & efficiently.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Implement projects, drive process improvement, and build relationships across the region.
  • Reports directly to and supports Global Payroll Manager on strategy and reporting.
  • Drive the team to become the gold standard of payroll - truly a Center of Excellence.
  • Manage Payroll related accounting entries.


Responsibilites:

US payroll:
  • Manage the US payroll function end to end.
  • Payroll processing on current in-house payroll system SAP.
  • Disbursements, pay statements and taxes via Dayforce.
  • Project: SAP Payroll transition to Workday. Go-live April 1st, 2025.

LTAM Payroll:
  • Manage the transition of the LTAM payroll function from HR to Finance. Q1 '2025
  • Manage LTAM payroll process end to end once transition is complete in partnership with our third-party payroll provider.

Canada payroll:
  • Manage the Canada payroll function end to end in partnership with our third-party payroll provider, ADP.


Generic Payroll Management:
  • Drive process standardisation & improvement.
  • Deliver an overview of milestones each month / quarter to the Global Payroll Manager
  • Interact with the global team, local contacts, and HR to build relationships.
  • Point of contact for payroll approvals and escalated queries
  • Support 'root -cause' analysis of payroll related issues.
  • Supervise and manage Time & Attendance.
  • Drive improvements on all KPI's.
  • Statutory submissions and compliance and tax regulation.
  • Benefit in kind tracking and taxation.
  • Equity management and taxation (SO, RSU & Dividends).
  • Expat and Global mobility.

Audit:
  • Performance of internal & SOX controls in a timely manner.
  • Oversee All Federal, State, Local Tax Inquiries
  • Manage audit compliance.
  • Ensure Tax Deposits are made in a timely manner.
  • Process all W-2C /1099 corrections & amend tax returns.
  • Philadelphia Wage Tax Reimbursement annual calculation
  • Keep current on the latest tax legislation and enact changes into payroll systems.
  • Year-end auditing for W-2, 1042-S tax forms
  • Quarterly/Annual Payroll Tax Filings- balance tax funding
  • Regular processing of payroll audit, exception & ad hoc reports
  • Shadow Payroll calculations/communications


Qualifications/Requirements:

Education
  • BA / BS in Finance / Accounting / HR / Business
  • APA qualified or equivalent qualification.

Qualifications
  • Workday payroll (in-house payroll), Dayforce, MS-Office, SAP, ADP, and T&A experience essential.
  • Languages: English. Spanish an advantage.
  • 5 years + multinational leadership experience.
  • Experience managing a large payroll portfolio within an SSC environment.
  • Experience coordinating interdependent teams within Finance and service providers toward timely and quality deliverables.
