Education: MA/MS degree

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree. OR Associate’s degree plus four (4) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree. OR Six (6) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree.

Experience: Ten (10) years of experience performing duties as described above.

Position Description:
This position directly supports the F/A-18 Growler Systems Co-Level 2 IPTLs in the capacity of a Level 3 IPT lead.

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Effectively execute development and sustainment requirements as it relates to cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Supports the development of documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy (AS), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Tracks deliverables, major events and milestones, meetings, briefings, and develop plans to ensure products are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Experience with the AMS suite to include the CDRL tool, PMT tool, and CSPT tool.
  • Assists in developing plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for the IPT programs.
  • Manages day-to-day operations across the IPT and makes recommendations in support of program execution and out-year planning.
  • This position involves daily interface and coordination with all levels of the IPTs, including government, contractor, and field activity personnel associated with the program office.
  • Provides IPT recommendation guidance to aircraft requirements, allocations, and utilization.
  • Attend, participate, provide coverage, support, analyze, provide input, develop, prepare, present and report on briefs, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.

Skills Desired: Comprehensive knowledge of NAVAIR policies, procedures, terminology and requirements.

Salary:

The projected salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
