Position Summary: The Associate Brand Manager, Global Brand Management position on Oster will support the development and execution of global innovation and growth initiatives. The role is a critical team member responsible for ensuring collaboration, communication and strong execution of global plans across all regions and countries. • Collaborate across all key functions globally and be recognized as a key leader in driving the cross functional team and agenda • Communicate regularly with regions and countries to ensure they properly adapting the global brand strategy, positioning, architecture, innovation and marketing plans to their markets • Manage several brand projects and ensure delivery on time and in full • Help build and distribute core launch assets and other marketing content to be utilized globally • Support global brand leaders Key Responsibilities: • Be a key liaison between the global team and regions/countries • Ensure feedback on innovation and marketing plans from countries is heard and fully considered by global team before final decisions are made • Lead development of core brand assets and ensure availability to regions and countries as needed • Lead packaging design process for new item launches • Assist and sometimes lead global innovation projects to deliver on time and in full • Partner with central marketing teams to deploy advertising and marketing campaigns globally in a format that can be adopted to the local market • Develop a thorough understanding of the target consumer and ensure all brand activities deliver against the key target • Understand global competitive landscape and provide insights and data to support key recommendations on how to drive share growth • Be a true steward and power user of the data • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to the Brand Manager and senior management • Reviews competitor performance and items to identify best practices, threats and opportunities; Generates learning on how we improve Newell performance • Be a steward of the brand foundational items and help drive global consistency in executing on Visual Brand Language (VBL) across all branded elements • Contribute to post mortem analyses that identify growth opportunities for future launches; help embed the learning into the company Required Experience/Qualifications: · A four-year college degree · 2+ years of prior experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles is preferred. · Desire to function as a business owner and a passion for brand management. Demonstrated ability to deliver results · Strong understanding of marketing principles. · Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop insights. · Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. · Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. · Strong communication skills, written and oral. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools. · Up to 10% travel potential. · Fluent in English required, Spanish preferred. · Newell Brands and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers and comply with applicable employment laws.
