The ideal candidate will have a background in steel manufacturing and design, with experience managing large-scale operations and a track record of success in improving efficiency and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and increase efficiencyManage daily manufacturing operations, including production schedules, staffing, and resource allocationDirectly oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including design, layout, assembly, and quality assuranceCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of manufacturing with inventory management, logistics, and customer serviceMonitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations and standardsLead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors to drive employee engagement, development, and retentionQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred10+ years of experience in steel manufacturing, with a proven track record of success in managing large-scale operationsExpertise in PEMB (Pre Engineered Metal Building) and MBS (Metal Building Systems) design and manufacturingDeep understanding of steel manufacturing processes and technologies, including welding, forming, cutting, and finishingStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional resultsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organizationExperience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex manufacturing issuesExperience with ERP systems and other manufacturing software toolsCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementBenefitsWe offer a competitive benefit package, and compensation will be commensurate with skills, knowledge and years of experience.For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
