Overview

Cyber Security Project Engineer

The Sponsor requires a team to coordinate and manage technical projects in support of a mission impact focused office. The Sponsor seeks assistance with performing technical project management that spans technical data analysis, information technology security research, data integration, software evaluation, and graphical visualization disciplines for multiple projects using the Sponsor's enterprise IT systems. The team will support technical projects spanning financial industry, telecommunications, media, and energy sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience performing risk analysis and assessments on cloud based systems and hybrid architectures to include Java based applications.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing vulnerability assessments utilizing such tools as Rapid 7, Web Inspect, and AppDetective.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and maintaining security support structures utilizing Linux and Windows technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and maintaining security support structures for HADOOP Ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting with the design, engineering, and development of highly secure systems built upon Amazon Web Services.
  • Demonstrated experience auditing and monitoring systems utilizing various tools, such as Splunk or similar metrics solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience performing continuous security monitoring and developing strategies for remediation.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in architecture design and reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience using XACTA and Microsoft Office.


  • Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret Clearance w/ FS Poly Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
    Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience complying with to Sponsor's Risk Management Framework.
  • Demonstrated experience with Linux administration.
  • Experience with multiple cloud vendors such as Azure, Oracle, Google or similar.
  • Certifications:
  • o Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
  • o Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
