To be considered for the Project Quality Engineer opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
- 5 years of quality engineering in a technical/engineering environment
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management systems
- MRP/ERP systems familiarity
- Aerospace industry experience
As a Project Quality Engineer, you will:
- Own the delivery of quality aspects of product line transfers
- Ensure internal and external quality approvals and Product/Process validations are completed
- Develop and implement project-specific quality plans and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence as needed.
- Train team members on quality standards, processes, and procedures to promote a culture of quality throughout the project.
- Advising the PMO/Business Development team on best approach to novate quality aspects of a license / acquisition.
- Responsible for the delivery of new regulatory/customer approvals if required.
- Responsible for organizing any transfer activities associated with TSO/ETSO/PMA work.
- Delivery of FAI's to meet company and customer requirements.
- Support the Project Manager to ensure that the assigned activities are completed on time and meet the transition project needs.
- Support the onboarding of customer requirements and obtaining any approvals.
- Support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities to resolve supplier and internal technical problems.
- Ensure proper Quality Codes and component risk assessments are identified during MRP setup.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements and support resolution of supplier quality issues.
- Participate in supplier onboarding process as needed.
- Attend regular project review meetings with the licensor and suppliers as required.
- Support determination of make/buy decisions as needed.
- Working with the Project Manager, identify, procure and commission tools, fixtures and equipment as required to support the project.
- Participate in project meetings to provide regular updates on quality performance and improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work with relevant Ontic and/or supplier teams to implement effectively.

Salary Range:
- $90,000- $100,000/year, based on experience
