Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, manage motion graphics creation, delegate job responsibilities, and oversee that quality work is completed within deadlines. This position will work closely with members of the Creative and Marketing teams to create visually stunning motion graphics and animations for various digital media platforms that inspire, inform, and captivate Accel Entertainment's partner locations and players, as well as assisting in other areas as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage, train, mentor, and lead the Motion Graphics Design team
  • Manage, plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities with Motion Graphics Design team to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams to create and design marketing and sales material including, but not limited to, bringing static images to life and creating motion and animated videos for the company, key account customers, and other partners
  • Create, manage, and oversee content lists for key account digital boards and upload content on a monthly schedule or as needed to various content management systems
  • Occasionally visit key account locations to preview work live on digital boards and work with others, sometimes outside of the Marketing Team, to troubleshoot as needed
  • Create standard operating procedures and training documents for content creation and back-end systems, and train other designers as needed
  • Work with gaming manufacturers to obtain game title assets and manage internal asset library
  • Incorporate typography, visual effects, and audio to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content
  • Adapt and optimize motion graphics for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless playback on various devices
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality motion graphics deliverables that meet requirements and exceed expectations
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance our visual communication efforts and to conceptualize and storyboard motion graphic projects that align with brand guidelines and project objectives
  • Stay up to date with new trends in the design world and new tools or programs to create best-in-class and innovative motion graphics that stand out from the competition
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines, and delivering projects on time
  • Serve as quality control to ensure all artwork is compliant with the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Basic in-house Marketing tasks


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Marketing or related field
  • 4-6+ years of professional experience in Motion Graphics or related field
  • 2+ years of professional managerial or leadership experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Monday.com or similar project management systems
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites, especially Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Express
  • Working knowledge of Canva
  • Expert design skills with a keen eye for layout, audio, typography, and color theory
  • A passion for design and a desire to continuously learn and grow in the field
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to understand, take direction, follow written and verbal instructions, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to manage workload, work independently, and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Ability to work remotely and stay on task without presence of management
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
