Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Schedule Advisor.

This role exists to provide the 25-year Enterprise Resource Plan for the company (for trade and staff) that integrates information from Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC), Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS) and Halifax Class Frigate (HCF) programs, to support strategic Business decision.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. The primary language of work is English. Qualifications:
• Education:

o Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering or equivalent.

o Project Management Professional (PMP)® PMI is an asset
• Experience:

o 5 Years or more of planning leadership experience in a naval Shipbuilding environment;
• Supervisory experience required;

o Experience in Strategic Planning, critical analysis and decision-making support (creation of indicators, targets, KPI,...)

o Thorough knowledge of modern Shipyard Construction Methodologies and practices, stage of construction, new build, etc. and high levels of familiarization with ship construction terminology is considered essential.

o Working knowledge of ERP systems and substantial working knowledge of Earned Value Management technique are an asset.

o Experience knowledge of network scheduling software (Primavera).

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement and maintain the 25-year Integrated Resources Business Plan of the Company to efficiently use labour resources and meet production targets.
• Liaise with Project Managers and Strategic Planning to develop assumption-based scenarios to present to the Executive Leadership Team for strategic decision making.
• Analyze input from different departments and manage and control the Monthly Hiring Target Report by trades that informs the hiring process.
• Produce, control, and manage weekly KPIs to all levels of the Company to inform status and improve performance across the Company.
• Develop production schedules in Primavera 6 based on the information submitted by the Build Strategy Team
• Other duties as required to facilitate the integration of information of the Enterprise Resource Plan from the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC), Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS) and Halifax Class Frigate (HCF) programs to support strategic Business decisions.
