Velocity Global's Strategic Partner Director, GTM - Commercial will be focused on identifying and integrating key GTM partnerships into our Commercial GTM organization. This role requires a proven track record in driving partner field engagement across multiple partner types, with the overarching goal of driving value for the partner and driving customer acquisition/expansion revenue via the Partner Ecosystem. This role primarily involves developing/nurturing key partner relationships and leading the multiple field facing work streams of partner identification, seller engagement and partner enablement, and mutual account planning activities. This role reports to the Head of Partner GTM with a dotted line to Sales Leadership.

Responsibilities:
Partnership GTM:
- Leveraging tools such as Crossbeam to identify and engage target opportunities with our partner ecosystem, and to support our AEs in developing a better together story
- Support the AE team in terms of developing a field Co-Sell motion, identifying high value activities and key events in support of our joint sales process
- Partner to seller engagement - nurture strategic partner to seller relationships in the field to activate a continuous GTM motion
- Assess, identify and onboard ideal partner types to serve the region/s of responsibility, tying into ideal partners to service the local GTM strategy of the region.
- Own a quota related to Partner Sourced and Partner Influenced revenue created.
Strategic Planning:
- Build the partner plan in support of achieving Partner Sourced and Influenced Revenue, aligned to Sales Leadership growth objectives.
- Assist the Partner Leader on creative ways to scale the Partner GTM function via programs and incentives, field engagement, and partner development activities.
- Provide feedback to the executive team on market trends, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers via partnerships.
Cross Functional Team Engagement:
- Work closely with internal marketing, sales, cs, product, and other teams to leverage partnership opportunities for mutual growth
- Internal GTM education on how to engage with Strategic partners
- Participation in strategic change projects as necessary
Ongoing Partner Governance:
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends to inform strategic decisions regarding potential partnerships.
- Measure and report on the performance of GTM partnership initiatives to key stakeholders and use feedback to refine and optimize strategy.
- Evaluate the financial and non-financial pros and cons of current and potential partnerships using appropriate analytics tools and techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in partnerships, with a proven track record of integrating partnerships as a strategic GTM lever and executing against partner revenue goals
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- In-depth understanding of the advisory and consultancy landscape
- Ability to prioritize and organize cross functional teams for success
- Experience building teams and optimizing a function through change
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in HR Tech Saas, and Enterprise Accounts strongly preferred
- Ability to travel as required up to 30%
