JOB SUMMARY
The SVP, Management Director (SVP, MD) leads assigned account(s), driving organization and client goals on a day-to-day basis. The SVP, MD champions the internal team through positive influence and encouragement. The SVP, MD represents the agency from a senior leadership perspective and brings solutions to business critical needs with confidence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Leadership: Champions learning and development across team to maximize collaboration and client satisfaction
Strategic Management: Leads team(s) on strategic development and brand planning through strong knowledge of client business objectives
Decision Making: Confidently make decisions by focusing on what's right for the agency, the client(s), and the team
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Engagement
- Plays a role in critical meetings such as brainstorms and position meetings with agency partners
- Represents agency relations with senior clients
- Maintains client confidence in team's ability
- Partners with clients to articulate client's brand vision and objectives so the team can design initiatives to drive client's business forward
- Identifies strategic opportunities for individual brands and/or franchise
Leadership
- Trains, develops, and delegates to account team
- Navigates team and client dynamics, which may require difficult and honest conversations
- Leads and motivates cross-functional teams in delivering successful digital marketing programs across multiple channels - Utilizes agency and network resources to produce exceptional results
- Matches client needs with agency capabilities as well as matching talent to task
- Checks with all team members and fosters an environment that enables collaboration and sharing of ideas and opinions
- Listens actively and objectively to challenges and concerns with the ability to tailor responses to the respective audience
- Builds strong, well-functioning teams consistently
- Meets regularly with senior cross-functional partners to achieve client satisfaction
- Inspires and develops agency staff to full potential
- Leads new business pitches
- P&L responsibility for assigned brands
Strategic Management
- Possesses strong knowledge and applies core marketing principles to the client's business
- Seeks new business and organic growth opportunities continually
- Looks inside and outside healthcare industry for trends to drive value for clients
- Engages in deep conversations with the client regarding ideas, vision, challenges
- Stays ahead of opportunities with long-range view of client position (pipeline, markets, products, competition, and needs)
- Leads team(s) on strategic development and brand planning
- Champions for change management; demonstrates support for innovation and organization changes
- Drives new ideas in key strategic meetings
- Thinks holistically about the health of their brands, business, and the agency
Decision Making
- Works with internal teams to identify needs of the business and determine appropriate staffing model
- Takes responsibility that all strategies and creative campaigns are in the best interest of building the brand
- Leads the creative development process
- Demonstrates ethics, integrity, and fiscal responsibility
- Makes decisions regarding finances, staff, and resources within scope of responsibility
- Plays a critical role in creative briefs, brand plans, revenue forecasts, and meeting revenue quarterly milestones.
- Negotiates a balance of agency initiatives with client needs
- Leverages best interviewing practices in candidate selection process
EDUCATION DEGREE - REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Bachelor's degree Preferred

Salary
$190,000 to $250,000 annually.
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
