We are seeking a NDT Branch Lead to join our team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is an exciting leadership role offering growth, development, and the opportunity to make a significant impact. You will be overseeing a team of 24 technicians, ensuring safety, performance, and the successful execution of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services. With occasional travel, you'll enjoy the opportunity to work primarily out of Saint John while supporting our operations across Atlantic Canada and beyond.

You will be overseeing a team of 24 technicians, ensuring safety, performance, and the successful execution of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services. Responsibilities
- Dispatch and Coordinate - Ensure timely and efficient dispatch of technicians for inspections, based on project and service demands.
- Client Relations - Communicate with customers to address issues, deliver test results, and ensure project satisfaction.
- Ensure Compliance - Oversee that all work adheres to NDT methods, codes, standards, and contract requirements. Must understand the scope and limitations of various NDT methods.
- Administrative Duties - Review timesheets, reports, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
Qualifications
- Educational background - A diploma in Engineering Technology is required; an Engineering degree is preferred. Familiarity with NDT methods and procedures is essential.
- Experience - 5+ years of experience in NDT, with a strong understanding of industry standards and codes. Previous leadership experience is an asset.
- Certifications - CGSB certifications are an asset but not required.
- Technical and Leadership Skills - Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent team management skills, and familiarity with NDT equipment and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams is required.
- Communication Skills - Ability to effectively communicate with both clients and internal teams. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve problems are critical.
