Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Head of Finance for our partner, a growing E-commerce company in South Florida! The Head of Finance will play a pivotal leadership role in managing the financial health of the company while it works to rapidly scale revenue.
As a key member of the leadership team, this role involves providing financial oversight, strategic planning, and analysis to help achieve our ambitious growth objectives. This hands-on position requires a deep understanding of financial strategy and operational efficiency in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
-Collaborate with senior leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
-Provide strategic insights to support business decisions and maximize financial performance.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
-Lead the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
-Ensure financial plans align with business goals and growth targets.
-Monitor performance against budgets and key metrics (KPIs).
Financial Reporting:
-Prepare and present regular financial reports to executives and stakeholders.
-Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate financial records.
-Work with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.
Risk Management & Compliance:
-Identify and manage financial risks while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
-Enhance internal controls and financial processes.
Investment & Capital Allocation:
-Assess investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, to support growth.
-Oversee capital allocation and ensure efficient use of company resources.
Operational Finance:
-Partner with department heads to align financial objectives with operational strategies.
-Optimize cost structures, profitability, and manage company liquidity, including accounts payable/receivable.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
-CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
-High-level experience in finance roles, ideally within the technology or software sector.
-Proven success in high-growth environments, scaling from mid-size to larger operations.
-Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and strategic planning.
-Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
-Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence decisions at the executive level.
