We are seeking a Production Assembler with mechanical assembly experience to build and assemble various assemblies and components that are used in supercharger systems. These assemblies range from single items to complex multi-part drive train assemblies. Must be able to work with small intricate parts and tools.

Responsibilities:

This position is in a manufacturing/machine shop environment, and this individual is responsible for performing a wide range of assembly functions to build and inspect sub-assemblies and main assemblies associated with centrifugal supercharger systems, as well as other precision assemblies for our ProCharger product line.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meet required daily schedules and deadlines
  • Maintain quality standards for assemblies produced
  • Follow proper work safety practices
  • Assistance with manufacture of other precision assemblies related to supercharger product line
  • Maintain accurate inventory through regular stocking and cycle counts
  • Cleaning and preparing parts before assembly, including parts inspection
  • Ability to use computers and other office equipment
  • Communicate and report non-conforming parts to supervisor, and quality control to resolve issue
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
Occasional overtime is available to meet product demands and schedules. May be exposed to cleaning solvents, compressed air, cast aluminum components, steel components, petroleum products, hot surfaces/ovens and alcohol based cleaning compounds.

Required Qualifications:
  • Mechanical aptitude and dexterity
  • Knowledge of use of basic hand tools, torque wrenches, pneumatic tool's
  • Ability to use and read micrometers, calipers, dial indicators
  • Ability to handle the demands of working under deadlines
  • Must be very detail-oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, friendly, reliable, and use good judgment
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with other employees in a close working environment.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of assembly experience working in a production environment
  • Prior automotive experience is a plus
  • Experience working with bearings and other precision parts
  • Experience with reading blueprints and assembly drawings
