Production Assembler

Job Title: Production Assembler This position does not require an interview and it start on Monday! Job Description Engage in basic assembly work that is repetitive in nature. You will need to interpret drawings and assembly instructions, operate production machines, use hand tools, and ensure the quality of produced parts. Responsibilities also include preparing parts for painting or shipping, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and documenting production activities. Responsibilities Interpret drawings and assembly instructions (verbal and written). Operate production machines to produce parts according to established standards and guidelines. Proper use of hand tools. Identify and report any workmanship defects or flaws in produced parts. Detect and report any machine or tool malfunctions. Prepare parts for painting and/or shipping, including gluing, taping, and cleaning. Maintain a clean and safe environment. Document production activities as requested. Perform additional tasks such as counting, packaging, labeling, or bagging produced parts or raw materials for kitting. Work individually or within a team. Handle small part mechanical assembly, occasional use of a microscope. Essential Skills Ability to interpret blueprints and assembly instructions. Basic production and manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift 25 lbs. Good verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail. Manual dexterity with the ability to work quickly and accurately to meet daily/weekly quotas. Additional Skills & Qualifications Adequate math, reading, and reasoning ability. Organizational, planning, and time management skills. Positive attitude. Ability to work overtime if needed. Why Work Here? This is a contract-to-hire role with no overtime required. Work Environment The dress code is manufacturing casual with closed-toe shoes, pants, t-shirts, and jackets allowed. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (First Shift). The production floor is partially complete and continuously being improved. The work involves standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and communicating effectively. You may be required to lift up to 20 pounds. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, soldering stations, solvents, and chemicals with a moderate noise level.
