Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 600+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a Family Practice Physician committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care in a rural family practice setting, with OB requirements. Fruitland Health Plaza is a multi-specialty practice serving Southwest Idaho and Southeast Oregon. Services offered at this practice include family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, and orthopedic services. On-site lab and x-ray are also available. This practice features excellent support including an on-site counselor, community health worker, and shared resources focused on population health. OB is required and deliveries will take place in Ontario, at our regional medical center (10 minutes from Fruitland) and include the opportunity to work in the newborn nursery as well as inpatient peds if desired. Given the rural nature of this position, physicians qualify for state loan repayment benefits. We're also offering a 4-day workweek, robust benefits (including health/dental/vision starting day 1) and competitive compensation. Community Located across from each other on the Snake River, where it forms the Idaho-Oregon border, Ontario, Oregon and Fruitland, Idaho serve as the retail, service, and medical center for 70,000 people within a 20-mile radius. Interstate 84 and Oregon Highways 20/26, 30, and 201 all pass-through Ontario. The area is known for it's scenic, rural setting and endless opportunities for outdoor recreation. Ontario/Fruitland is one hour from Boise, Idaho. The Boise Airport (BOI) is the principal airport serving the region. It is a major commercial airport, where several major airlines provide daily flights to medium and large cities in all directions. A local general aviation airport offers charter service and other Fixed Base Operator services. Requirements * Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; * Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program; * Board certified, or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment; * Obtain Idaho & Oregon medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA. Requirements include a strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group. As this opportunity also includes privileges at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Ontario, located across the river from Fruitland in Oregon, you will be expected to obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health System s general internal program across all communities we serve.
