Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Location: Lake in Northern New Jersey, a popular recreational area known for boating, fishing, and various water sports.
Facility: A healthcare facility that provides urgent medical services, often for non-life-threatening conditions that require immediate attention but do not necessarily require a visit to a hospital emergency room.
Opportunity:
* Responsibilities include providing patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based setting, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, and making sound medical assessments and treatment plans.
* Outpatient setting
* Office Hours are as follows (working schedule TBD by practice to include some on call and rotating Saturday shifts):
- Monday - 9am-6pm
- Tuesday- 9am-8pm
- Wednesday- 8am-8pm
- Thursday- 8am-9pm
- Friday- 9am-5pm
- Saturday 9am-1pm
* Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
* Treatment of acute illnesses
* Treatment of acute injuries
* Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene
* Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary
* Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
* Provides direction to both clinical and reception support staff
* Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy (above 80% with goal of 95%) of E/M coding and closing/sign off after review of all patient charts in accordance with company policies Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for productivity/PCN (percent net collection) bonuses
* Expected to see 25 patients per day
* Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy of HCC coding. Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for VBC bonuses
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
* Successful completion of CHC s credentialing and privileging review upon hire and re-credentialing as appropriate
* Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) use preferred
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel and community members
* Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries
* Remains calm and effective in high pressure and emergency situations
