Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee all aspects of HR: including but not limited to: talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, safety, compliance, total rewards, HR technology, and labor and employee relations
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Manage employee benefits programs and ensure competitive and cost-effective offerings
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture
- Partner with senior management to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related issues
- Lead and develop the HR team to deliver high-quality HR services and support to the organization
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals and objectives
- Must keep abreast of all relevant employment laws and regulations
- 10% travel required within California
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
- Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Labor relations experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish required
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in the construction industry or related field preferred
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Valid driver's license and must meet pre-employment hiring requirements
