Newsweek is actively recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join our Sales team. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by effectively managing and expanding our client base within the digital, branded content, events, and advertising industry. This includes large agency holding companies, independent agencies, and clients directly. Your role will be pivotal in developing strategies, building strong relationships, and driving successful sales initiatives. In this role you will report directly to the Head of Sales
Job Requirements:
Our corporate headquarters is located in New York City. The successful candidate must be able to work in the office at least 2 days a week and can work from home on the remaining days
Salary Range- $150,000-$170,000 base plus competitive commission structure.

Job Requirements:
- 5-7 years' experience in digital advertising sales
- Experience in Telco, Financial, Health, and Retail verticals perferred
- Consistently exceeding revenue targets by adeptly closing multiple-revenue stream deals spanning programmatic, digital, branded content, hubs, and events.
- Results-driven thriving in fast-paced, fiercely competitive industries, driven by self-motivation and consultative approach.
- Possess a deep understanding of the advertising industry, including current trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. This knowledge will be utilized to position Newsweek's offerings effectively and stay ahead of the competition.
- Boasting an extensive network of relationships with senior brand marketers and key decision-makers, including leadership, investment, strategy, planning, and programmatic teams across clients and major agency holding companies and independents alike.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of advertising campaigns.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at cultivating and nurturing long-lasting client partnerships in New York required.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other productivity tools for sales management pipeline optimizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
