Florissant Animal Hospital, our AAHA-accredited 4-doctor practice, was established in 1958. We are North County's only full-service veterinary hospital offering small animal medical and surgical services, boarding, and grooming. We are looking for someone to lead our dedicated and experienced team.

Managing Veterinarian:
The Managing Doctor is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Managing Doctor is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.
In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Managing Doctor is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of Divisional Leadership. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Managing Doctor are responsible for cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment.

The Practice:
- Five exam rooms and a comfort room, two table surgery suite, five wards, an isolation ward, a large dog run area, and an outdoor exercise area
- State-of-the-art dental suite to include two high-speed units as well as digital dental radiography and all our staff have received in-depth dental training
- In-house laboratory capabilities for selected blood chemistries and panels (new Idexx suite), urinalysis, sediments, cultures, PCV, TP, Felv/FIV, and various ELISA tests performed by technicians + external full-service clinical and pathological laboratories
- Complete pharmacy - large inventory of established pharmaceuticals as well as many of the latest developments
- Newest version of AVImark - streamlines the management of a client database of more than 6200 patients
- Located within close proximity to 3 specialty referral practices and 24-hour emergency facilities

Compensation Package includes:
