Position Overview:
The Controller will oversee all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will bring strategic financial leadership, proficiency in cost and ERP systems, and a background in supporting acquisition initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in managing the financial health of the organization and supporting its growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support operational efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Provide strategic financial insights, support decision-making, and enhance profitability through business plan development.
  • Implement and optimize ERP systems for the company’s Atlanta location.
  • Establish and maintain robust financial controls, including GAAP compliance and inventory management.
  • Support acquisition activities, including contract negotiation, financial due diligence, and process integration.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Certifications: MBA in Accounting, CPA certification preferred.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strategic Financial Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage comprehensive accounting operations, strategic planning, and financial reporting.
    • Team & Organizational Development: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and enhancing profitability through business planning.
    • Cost & Accounting Systems: Skilled in cost accounting, ERP system implementation, and streamlining financial processes.
    • Budgeting & Financial Control: Expertise in budgeting, GAAP compliance, inventory management, and financial controls.
    • Acquisition Expertise: Experience in acquisitions, contract negotiation, and financial due diligence.
