Description An exciting opportunity exists at Barnes for a Global Product Marketing Manager in its Force and Motion Control SBU, Maumee, OH. The ideal candidate will drive sustainable profitable growth for a defined product line. This role will manage the life cycle of specified product lines - including new product introductions, existing product updates, and mature product rationalization - and provide strategic direction for the commercial go-to-market plan. This role will lead and engage a cross-functional team with multiple projects that drive performance in our business and create more value for our customers. Core Responsibilities: Establish the vision and strategy to drive increased global market share of the assigned product line in alignment with the business' global strategy for growing Top Line, Bottom Line, Pipeline. Manage lifecycle of product lines to ensure appropriate strategies are applied to each product given segment & technology maturity and changing market conditions, including SKU rationalization. Executes a strategic product road map for how the product is marketed to improve product access and availability, globally, while ensuring alignment to the overall business goals. Successfully position product line to the market with a defined value proposition. Own relationship with customer persona. Works closely with commercial teams to align go-to-market strategies and ensure profitable growth for the division across various channels. Works outside-in with market data, VoC and analytics to understand key markets, segments, and customer applications. Drive commercialization of new product introductions, utilizing the stage-gate process. Executes market analysis to define and validate addressable market sizes, CAGRs, and product opportunities per segment. Complete competitive analysis for assigned product lines, benchmark of competitors, and identification of key markets. Ensure data integrity within marketing channels (e.g., website, Distributors, etc.) and maintain product data within the product information management (PIM) system. Identify, communicate, and leverage best practices across the business and Barnes. Adherence to Barnes Code of Business Ethics and Conduct Other projects/responsibilities as assigned by leadership. Qualifications: 5-7 years of experience within principles of Product Marketing Management: marketing, lifecycle management, commercialization, pricing, or project management. Or 3-5 years of product marketing management experience with 3+ years working with industrial mechanical springs and gas struts. A proven track record of implementing and successfully executing strategies in a high-performance work environment. Global experience desired. Education Requirements: Bachelor's in business, Marketing, Engineering or related degree MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
