Job Description
Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for a Sales Account Executive / Retail Sales Director to help drive sales for a fast-moving Hemp / Cannabis company. Ideally, this individual will be based or willing to relocate to the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina area, however remote may be considered for candidates with performing existing books of business calling on smoke shops.
Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing (www.viridianstaffing.com) is the premier Talent Acquisition & Talent Management Firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.
You will use your existing retail channel sales experience to grow the number of convenience, gas, or smoke shop store retailers carrying the product in the US, while growing sales volume at existing stores. You must have experience selling into smoke shops regionally and ideally nationally as well.
Your background in selling, ideally, hemp based products into these channels will help to set you up for further success, however successfully selling into at least one of these channels any type of product is required. You're known for your exceptional negotiation skills and ability to close sales using your proven communication skills, along with your ability to build lasting relationships with customers. You'll have the opportunity to utilize your expert level knowledge of the company's brand to elevate the brand's community profile. If you have proven success in driving growth in CBD / Hemp companies, have an existing book of business /experience selling hemp products into a variety of channels, are great at establishing credibility & rapport with clients, and building professional relationships, then this could be the right role for you. This position will also require travel and you should have regular access to a reliable vehicle / be close to a major airport. There also will be travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, if not based there.
Compensation: $80K+ + Commission
