Job Summary

  • Performs CT examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy of Avera St. Luke's, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.
  • CT Swing Shift position will assist in performing radiology duties as required.
  • Assist in clinical training of staff technologists and radiology clinical students. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. 
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.

                       

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, or equivalent specialty.  (Nuclear Medicine Technology)
  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.  (ARRT, CNMT) 
  • Advanced certification in CT is required.

Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
  • Call time - Every Fourth Weekend / Holiday  and one shift per week on call

The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
