Job Summary
- The Catheterization Lab Technologist is an individual who is experienced in diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and peripheral vascular technologies, techniques with the knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, and physiology on adult aged patients.
- The individual performs all cardiovascular and/or peripheral vascular procedures at a technical and professional level, requiring minimal supervision of technical detail.
- Education and/or Experience
- Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Science degree required
- Two years minimum experience in their field or specialty preferred.
- Must be familiar with the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, comprehension of the ECG and hemodynamic system.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Certification from ARRT or similar accrediting body preferred.
- The Cath Lab Technologist must meet the required CME associated with their certification.
Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Weekend call rotation every other weekend
- Holiday call rotation every other holiday
- Occasional overnight
- Join a cohesive team
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
- $31.75-48.00 per hour
