About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Tax Strategy with a focus on global tax planning and compliance. The successful candidate will be tasked with the development and execution of the global tax strategy, covering federal, state, and international tax matters. This role is pivotal in identifying, evaluating, and implementing tax management strategies to minimize risk and ensure compliance with the ever-evolving global tax landscape. The VP will also be responsible for overseeing transfer pricing, supporting tax provision, compliance, and audits, as well as providing expert guidance on all tax aspects of M&A and business transactions. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years of in-depth technical knowledge of US and international tax law, with a proven track record of effectively communicating complex tax issues to non-tax professionals. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work across various teams and with senior leadership are essential. The role requires a hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented approach, with a preference for candidates with a JD/LLM and an established in-house track record. The VP will be expected to manage a direct report and mentor them in transfer pricing matters, making leadership and mentoring experience valuable. The ideal candidate for the VP, Tax Strategy position at the company will have a background in tax law, a JD/LLM is preferred, and a demonstrated ability to be resourceful and responsive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in all aspects of tax-related M&A, and business transactions, and a strong understanding of the impact of global tax legislation changes is crucial.
