Team Overview:
- The Women's Health team provides comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of women throughout their lives. Led by experienced obstetricians/gynecologists and supported by Physicians Assistants, nurses, and specialists in areas such as mental health, nutrition, and genetics, our team offers a wide range of services. From prenatal care and childbirth to gynecological screenings, breast health, and menopause management, we prioritize personalized care and empower women to make informed decisions about their health. With a commitment to excellence, our multidisciplinary team collaborates seamlessly to promote wellness, prevent illness, and support women's health at every stage of life.
Work Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm, Friday 8 am – 4 pm, and rotating Sundays 9am – 5pm
Position Overview:
- Patient-Centered Care: Prioritize comprehensive patient histories to understand individual health journeys, with a focus on reproductive and gynecological health. Assist in thorough physical examinations and monitor vital signs to assess and manage women's health conditions effectively. Accurate recording of patient information supports informed medical decisions tailored to each woman's unique needs.
- Empower Patient Wellness: Providing compassionate guidance through examinations, treatments, and consultations. Ensuring patient comfort and confidence during procedures is integral. Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans that empower women to achieve their health goals.
- Facilitate Coordination and Communication: As a primary point of contact for women's health, facilitate clear communication, and ensure continuity of care. Coordinating referrals to specialists, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments optimizes women's health management. Efficient management of medication prescriptions and refills enhances medication adherence and promotes positive health outcomes.
- Excellence in Clinical Practice: Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings accurately to aid in timely diagnoses of women's health conditions. Performing gynecological examinations and assisting physicians during procedures support comprehensive care. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams promotes holistic health management and preventive care strategies specific to women's health needs.
- Maintain Clinical Standards: Uphold rigorous standards of cleanliness and safety in gynecological examination rooms and procedural areas. Sterilizing and maintaining medical instruments and supplies ensures a sterile environment conducive to women's health care. Adherence to infection control protocols safeguards the health and well-being of patients.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing, equipped with the skills to thrive
- Licensed/Registered in New York State as an LPN, showcasing your dedication to professional standards
- CPR Certification required, reflecting your commitment to quality care
- Strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electronic Medical Records
- Phlebotomy certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Pay & Benefits:
- $32 per hour, commensurate with experience.
