Gynecology NP or PA - Outpatient - Brooklyn APP

A network of outpatient practices in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their women's health team in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Office is open 8-6 or 8-5, closed on the weekends
• Specialty: GYN
• Patient Population: Adults

Responsibilities:

The GYN NP or PA will:

• Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments, order appropriate laboratory, radiological and special examinations or tests; interpret results
• Treat routine gynecological problems and provide cervival cancer screenings
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide patient education including lactation education
• Perform outpatient procedures as required including IUD insertion

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in an outpatient or physician practice setting
• NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license or Physician Assistant (PA)
• 2 years women's health experience
