LCSW - LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

POSITION TITLE: LCSW - LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

FLSA: EXEMPT

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• LCSW license/certification required.
• Two to four years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Experienced in substance abuse counseling.
• Ability to write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule forms.
• BLS required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Conduct client screening, assessments, and brief treatment sessions; develop and implement treatment/care plans for patients.
• Provide case management services for patients.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy, as necessary.
• Prepare and maintain clinical records.
• Submit reports as required.
• Participate in care management and team meetings.
• Make referrals to appropriate resource agencies.
• Provide feedback to resource agencies.
• Provide crisis intervention, when needed.
• Participate in staff development activities.
• Serve as a mentor to Non-Exempt Counseling staff, when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
