We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for aMaterial Handlerto join a leading Company located in theDurham, NHsurrounding area. The Material Handler is responsible for processing and moving finished products and materials throughout the organization. Responsibilities : Perform transactions in the inventory system, moving products around within the warehouse Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities Materials may be moved from racks, skids, or carts Maintain organization and inventory of products within the department Understand and implement required procedures (ISO standard documents) Oversee and maintain a clean work area as well as any other area that may be assigned to Finished Goods according to our 5S standards Report any and all safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manager Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Assist in day-to-day department operations as requested Basic Hiring Criteria : High school diploma or equivalent Desired Qualifications : Previous Oracle experience is a plus Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word) Knowledge of material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies Knowledge of forklifts and reach trucks a plus Interest in getting certified for forklift operation is highly desired Must have good communication skills, simple mathematical ability, and can write legibly Must be able to work individually and as a team in a fast-paced environment Must be able to follow established procedures, and work under the direction of the supervisor Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed VEVRAA Federal Contractor / Request Priority Protected Veteran Referrals / Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visithttp://www.tadpgs.com/candidate-privacy/orhttps://pdsdefense.com/candidate-privacy/ The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
