This position is based at our Myers Controlled Power factory in Canton, Ohio. Job duties and responsibilities: Assembler -- Assemble complete electrical products using mechanical assembly drawings in a factory setting. Assemble metal-clad equipment and other power distribution equipment, installing components, units and subassemblies to mechanical assembly drawings. Read and interpret mechanical drawings to determine material requirements and assembly instructions. Operate portable power tools and ladders. Utilize small hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) 1-2 years of Mechanical Assembly experience Ability to read and understand documents written in standard English Ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Be safety and quality-oriented, accountable, dependable, reliable, productive, ethical, a strong communicator, innovative, a team player, and have a positive attitude Benefits Include: $2K Sign-on bonus · Paid overtime · Paid vacation and sick time · Paid holidays (9 days) · Paid life insurance · 401k with employer match · Company Paid Short- and Long-term disability insurance · Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including 100% company-paid employee only medical plans Job Types: Full-time, Part-time 10 hour shift - 4 days a week
