As a Manager, Talent Development you will design and implement programs to develop leadership skills, employee engagement, and organizational change management. You will also oversee the learning management system to ensure it effectively supports team member development initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership Development
- Design and implement comprehensive leadership development programs that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Facilitate leadership workshops and training sessions.
- Coach and mentor emerging leaders within the organization
Engagement Survey and Action Planning
- Plan and action annual employee engagement surveys
- Analyze survey results and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and execute companywide action plans to address feedback and enhance employee experience
- Build and deploy tools and resources to front-line teams to support action planning
Learning Management System:
- Manage the LMS to ensure it is user-friendly and up to date with relevant content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and curate training materials.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs and adjust as necessary.
Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives to support the organization's growth
- Develop strategies to manage resistance and increase buy-in for organizational changes.
- Provide tools, resources and guidance to support leaders
Talent Assessment and Succession Planning:
- Lead talent assessment and success planning processes and resources to identify and develop high-potential and key talent.
Performance Management:
- Analyze employee performance to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Partner with department leaders to align performance management with talent development strategies.
Metrics and Analysis:
- Track training metrics and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of development programs
- Adjust development strategies based on feedback and performance outcomes.
Diversity Initiatives:
- Identify and deploy initiatives that promote diversity, diversity, equity, and inclusion and foster a positive organizational culture.
Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors and trainers and ensure effective deployment of tools, training and activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership development, talent management or organization design.
- Post Secondary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or another related field
- Strong understanding of learning management systems, instructional design and adult learning principles
