Job Summary:
As part of the Supply Chain Operation and under the Supervision of the Inventory Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Lead will lead the Shipping and Receiving department to effectively perform all activities related to the receipt and processing of incoming goods into our inventory using Fibreworks ERP system. You will prepare, package and ship finished goods to customers, schedule the pickup and delivery of Fibreworks goods to outside vendors. Working closely with the Inventory Lead on put-away tasks and properly move inventory through our facility. The S&R Lead would learn FWC and CF S&R and inventory processes to act as a backup to the Inventory Lead when required.

Job Role:
Shipping and Receiving 80%
- Coordinate the preparation and package goods for shipments.
- Ship products ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements (DOT/HAZMAT).
- Maintain communication with QC and planning teams to ensure shipping and staging schedule is executed.
- Unpack, inspect, identify (label) and properly storage all received products, materials and supplies.
- Load and unload truck, engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Documents and report damages and discrepancies for future processing and reconciliation.
- Using ERP, ensures all shipping and receiving transactions, bill of ladings, packing slips are properly filled and stored.
- Ensure all Returned Goods (RMA's) and Intercompany transfers are properly processed.
- Will manage all customer-based portals to ensure proper dock times, ASN and relevant information is properly submitted to customer.
- Review, update and create proper SOP for Shipping and receiving and ensure team members are properly trained on them.
- Maintain a clean and organized dock area.
- Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
- Work in hand with the inventory, to ensure ERP and physical inventory match for all receipts and put-away materials on proper locations.
- Participate when required on weekly /monthly/quarterly accurate cycle counts and physical Inventory,
- Maintain the inventory receiving location counts are accurate and ensure proper transfer of parts from outside vendors
- Verifying quantity and quality, record lot/bin numbers and expiration dates
- Provide counts on custom packaging and wood pallet stock
- In conjunction with the Inventory Manager you will grow and lead a team reporting to you.
- You will train and mentor new and existing employees.
- 2-year degree preferred or High School diploma
- 2-years' experience managing Shipping and Receiving, and managing a small team of people
- Proficient with computers and previous experience with ERP systems
- 2-year Inventory audit and control experience in a manufacturing environment and /or machine shop.
- Interpersonal skills - ability to work with different departments in the company
- Able to operate forklift
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to meet deadlines
- Available weekends and holidays as scheduled by management
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

- Combination of indoor and outdoor activities with varying conditions
- Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- May involve operating material handling equipment in a safe manner
- Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
- Some positions may require working with small parts/components, necessitating excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
