What You'll Do

The Vice President of Ecommerce Demand Planning is responsible for driving the demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization processes to support the ecommerce growth across six brands sites. The VP will collaborate closely with licensees, marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting, efficient inventory management, and alignment of product availability with customer demand.

What You'll be Working on

Demand Forecasting and Analytics:
  • Develop and implement advanced demand forecasting models that integrate historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and seasonality
  • Leverage data analytics, AI, and machine learning tools to improve forecast accuracy and identify opportunities for ecommerce growth
  • Monitor and analyze ecommerce demand fluctuations and provide recommendations to adjust forecasts accordingly

Promotions
  • Develop promotional calendar with licensees and merchandising teams to optimize topline and margin goals
  • Test different strategies to create a promotional arsenal
  • Propose future promotional functionality to dev team with expected ROI on program

Inventory Management and Optimization:
  • Partner with licensees on inventory planning strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and minimize out-of-stocks across ecommerce channels
  • Manage inventory turnover rates to align with business objectives, focusing on both top-line sales and margin improvement

Digital Channel Planning:
  • Collaborate with marketing to plan traffic and conversion forecast goals tied to overall sales plans
  • Understand consumer buying behavior by acquisition and retention channels to plan future season buys

Must Haves
  • 10+ years of experience in demand planning or inventory management with a significant focus on ecommerce operations. Experience in a fast-paced retail, consumer goods, or ecommerce environment is preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in demand forecasting and statistical modeling techniques
  • Proficiency in ecommerce analytics platforms
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to balance long-term goals with immediate business needs
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, ecommerce ecosystems, and inventory optimization techniques


Primary Location Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000
