What You'll Do
The Director of Digital Merchandising will help drive maximum sales and profitability of product assortment through merchandising strategies, test and targeting, and conversion rate optimization tactics. You will have a deep understanding of customer behavior, site friction points, pricing and promotions, and industry trends. The Director of Digital Merchandising will oversee multiple apparel and accessory sites and oversee a team of 2-3 merchants.

What You'll Do
The Director of Digital Merchandising will help drive maximum sales and profitability of product assortment through merchandising strategies, test and targeting, and conversion rate optimization tactics. You will have a deep understanding of customer behavior, site friction points, pricing and promotions, and industry trends. The Director of Digital Merchandising will oversee multiple apparel and accessory sites and oversee a team of 2-3 merchants.
What You'll be Working on
- Drive merchandising strategy and execution for product assortment through navigation, onsite search, photography, PLP and PDP experiences
- Utilize consumer insights to drive actionable recommendations and inform testing strategy
- Work closely with licensees to develop effective promotional strategies and seasonal launch plans
- Create and maintain a weekly/monthly/seasonal site merchandising calendar, inclusive of content updates, promotions, launches and testing plan
- Work cross-functionally with product, dev, content strategy, digital marketing, and creative functions to achieve business objectives
- Act as power user for ecommerce suite and utilize technology including PIM, reviews, ecommerce platform (Shopify), testing, and merchandising tools
- Track and report on KPIs on a regular basis and institute actions to respond to customer behavior and business trends
- Lead a team of merchants responsible for product setup and publishing, markdowns and promotional setup, copy and photography accuracy, and content execution
Must Haves
- 7+ years of digital merchandising, ideally in retail, managing catalogs with 10k+ skus
- Strong business acumen and results oriented
- Experience with ecommerce platforms, PIMs, DAMs and/or other digital merchandising platforms
- Test and learn mentality and solution oriented
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive benchmarks
- Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and people
- Excellent attention to detail, QA-minded, and can manage thousands of rows of data
- Strong communication skills with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders
