Key Responsibilities
- Managing a small team as part of our onboard production department and providing technical production and stage management for some of our more intimate venues, our Production Managers are hands-on leaders with a very diverse and broad-range skill set.
- Maintaining and operating industry standard lighting, audio, rigging and video systems in both our indoor and outdoor venues, providing technical production for entertainment programs, lectures and activities as well as managing evening cabaret shows featuring world class fly-on guest entertainers, comedians, magicians and our own cast of singers and dancers, are all in a days' work.
- Our Production Managers are required to have excellent technical and creative skills in both audio and lighting, with knowledge of stage and broadcast technology from industry leaders such as Digico, Yamaha, Green Hippo, Black Magic and MA Lighting and experience with systems such as QLab and Pro Tools desirable.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' professional experience in live event, broadcast or theatre industries and be hard working individuals who can excel when working independently or when leading a team.
- Applicants interested in the role of Production Manager within our TV studio, Princess Live!, must have extensive previous experience in broadcast, with some experience of directing and using Final Cut desirable.
- Strong leadership, team building and communication qualities in a culturally diverse environment are a must, as are solid problem solving skills and a flair for resourceful "out-of-the-box" thinking.
- Fluent English language skills required.
- Understanding of the foundation of guest service; ability and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our guests.
- Motivation to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities.
- Personable communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality.
- Ability to continuously surprise and delight guests throughout their cruise experience.
- Commitment to establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment.
