Job Location: Hershey, PA * Role Overview:* The Customer Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for optimizing the supply chain operations to enhance service levels and drive efficiency across the customer supply chain. This role involves analyzing customer demand patterns, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The Analyst will leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making processes and improve supply chain performance, aiming to deliver superior customer service while managing costs and risks effectively. * Responsibilities:* 1. Demand Forecasting and Analysis: Analyze customer demand patterns and forecast future requirements to ensure optimal inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstock situations. 2. Order Management: Oversee the order fulfillment process from order receipt to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders while addressing any issues that arise. 3. Inventory Optimization: Monitor and manage inventory levels to align with demand forecasts, working to reduce excess inventory and improve turnover rates while maintaining service levels. 4. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with sales, production, and logistics teams to synchronize supply chain activities and resolve any supply chain disruptions or customer service issues. 5. Performance Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain performance metrics and reports to track supply chain performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. * Experience & Education:* * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such as APICS or CSCP can be beneficial. * Experience: 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles, preferably within the consumer packaged goods industry.
