Safety takes precedence over rapid growth.About the RoleCustomers seek the smartest models with optimal cost and latency. Fine-tuning models for large-scale applications is highly effective for this purpose. We are searching for a Product Manager (PM) to define and lead the product direction for our model customization offerings. This role involves deep collaboration with engineering and research teams to develop a powerful, intuitive customization suite, as well as with Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies to maximize global impact.This position is based in San Francisco, CA, and operates under a hybrid work model with three days in the office per week. Relocation assistance is available for new hires.In this role, you will:Spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI research by crafting the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution plans.Translate user feedback into detailed product requirements, narratives, and technical specifications.Utilize data to understand user needs and inform future product development.Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including research, product design, and engineering teams.You might thrive in this role if you:Have over 6 years of product management or related industry experience.Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.Possess proven experience in a technical environment, working with cross-functional teams to drive the product vision, define requirements, and navigate key milestones.Enjoy building products from scratch.Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills, along with exceptional communication abilities.About OpenAIOpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
