InPlant Sales ExecutiveDescription -This role is for a sales specialist who will support the Commercial field sales organization. The individual in this position will be tasked with selling to InPlant clients (such as colleges and universities, K-12 schools, municipal and state entities, corporate InPlants, etc.), showcasing comprehensive product and industry expertise, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and understanding client needs. This role involves managing sales opportunities, creating proposals and quotes, and working with both clients and internal teams to design tailored solutions. Additionally, the position contributes to sales forecasting, resolves client issues, and seeks to penetrate an underserved segment of the industry for HP Industrial.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates a deep understanding of the organization's products or services, as well as the industry to effectively position the offerings and articulate their value to potential clients.Engages with key stakeholders within client organizations, including executives and decision-makers, to build relationships and ensure satisfaction with the organization’s offerings.Engages with clients to design customized solutions for their unique business needs in collaboration with product experts and engineers.Prepares customized proposals and quotes for clients, including pricing, terms, and contract details to drive revenue growth for the organization.Collaborates with the GCP field sales team and external partners to enhance sales opportunities and deliver value to clients.Attends industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the network and build relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.Captures leads and ensures their proper assignment and follow-up to drive the sales pipeline in collaboration with internal teams.Acts as a point of contact for resolving client issues and concerns, working closely with customer support or service teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution.Stays up to date with industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.Education & Experience RecommendedFour-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in selling to inplants, consultative selling, account management, or a related field.Knowledge & SkillsBalancing (Ledger/Billing)Business DevelopmentBusiness To BusinessCustomer Relationship ManagementDemonstration SkillsEnterprise SalesMarketingMerchandisingOutbound CallsPresalesProduct DemonstrationProduct KnowledgeSales EngineeringSales ProcessSales ProspectingSelling TechniquesSolution SellingTechnical SalesValue PropositionsWireless SalesCross-Org SkillsEffective CommunicationResults OrientationLearning AgilityDigital FluencyCustomer CentricityImpact & ScopeImpacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.ComplexityWorks on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.DisclaimerThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).
