JustinBradley's client, a non-profit trade association, is looking to add a VP of Finance and Administration to their team.
The Vice President, Finance and Administration (VP) reports directly to the CEO and is an integral member of the senior executive team responsible for the day-to day tasks and overall management of the association's accounting, financial and administrative operations.

The Vice President, Finance and Administration (VP) reports directly to the CEO and is an integral member of the senior executive team responsible for the day-to day tasks and overall management of the association's accounting, financial and administrative operations.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and coordination of organizational budgets, financial reporting, contract and grant management
- Assess, develop and implement effective and efficient financial systems and processes in accordance with GAAP to ensure effective internal control, accurate and timely financial reporting, efficient operations and adherence to the strategic plan.
- Manage the association's Foundation's financial operations to ensure efficient and effective receipt, processing, disbursement and reporting of charitable funds raised and managed by the organization.
- Timely financial statement reporting and variance analysis for management and the Board.
- Develop an annual budget for Board approval with responsibility for monitoring performance throughout the year.
- Oversee all accounting operations from transaction bookkeeping through full cycle close.
- Manage the annual audit process and consult with external auditors.
- Manage the annual Form 990 process.
- Manage the association's human resources functions including payroll, benefits (including COBRA), onboarding and offboarding, and employee handbook. Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- Work closely with senior management to support their effectiveness in program financial management, program budgeting and related activities.
A well- qualified candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a professional accounting environment, non-profit preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office, and accounting software packages, Sage Intacct, strongly preferred.
- Experience and comfort in working within a database structure, iMIS experience preferred.
