The License Compliance team protects MathWorks' intellectual property by investigating non-compliant use of our software. We are an analytics-driven team that utilizes analysis skills to confidently identify software piracy, leading to reduced piracy and potential business engagements. Our focus on analysis and technology allows us to work effectively with our licensing and development teams to enforce the legal use of MathWorks software. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward analysis, enjoy finding patterns from different sources, making confident analytics-driven decisions, and engaging companies to resolve compliance issues. This role will combine the investigation of license abuse to confidently recommend appropriate actions, along with the engagement of infringing companies to resolve compliance issues. |

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- 1-4 years of professional experience investigating and solving problems using analysis skills to provide practical business insights
- 1-4 years of direct customer engagement experience
- Language skills for English, Spanish, or Hindi
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in the software industry, preferably B2B
- Technical investigation, loss prevention, anti-piracy, cyber security
- Experience with MathWorks' products and technology
- Hands-on experience with one or more business intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI etc.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
