Simply put, we take care of our advisors, so they can take care of their clients.Job Overview:Principal IAM Architect will be responsible for the strategic design of LPL’s  Identity and Access Management ecosystem, driving the IAM program to modernize application authentication, authorization and security capabilities.  This role will drive IAM security policies, ensuring application secure by design standards are met by agency’s business units. The Identity and Access Management Security Architect will serve as a lead IAM technical point of contact for the Identity and Access Management program, responsible for developing IAM application standards, including authentication and authorization mechanisms. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to partner with other leaders across the business to identify opportunities and risks and develop and deliver solutions that support business strategies and protect LPL’s sensitive information and intellectual property globally.The Principal IAM Architect is a mid-senior level role responsible for defining The Vice President of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) is a mid-senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, implementation, and management of the organization’s identity governance and administration programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant identity and access management processes. The VP will work closely with cross-functional teams to align IGA strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements, driving innovation and continuous improvement in identity governance.Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute a comprehensive IAM strategy that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation and improvements in IAM governance processes.Define and communicate the strategic direction for IAM initiatives across the organization.2. Technical ExpertiseServe as a technical expert across multiple products and be able to provide direction to development and implementation teams.Lead product evaluation initiatives for key capabilities such as Authentication, Identity Governance, Dynamic Authorization, Mult-factor Authentication, etc.Provide technical leadership in support of key IAM intiativies.3. Subject Matter ExpertiseEstablish and maintain subject matter expertise across the entire IAM domain including cloud-based applications and development.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in IAM and CyberSecurityDrive adoption of best practices and emerging technologies in IAMWhat are we looking for?We want strong leader who can develop and execute a comprehensive AIM strategy. We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team oriented, and can execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.Requirements:Minimum of 10 years in IT or cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role focused on Identity and Access Management.In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with mutlipel IAM solutions such as SailPoint, ForgeRock, Saviynt, PingFed, AD/Azure, CyberArk, Okta, Oracle Identity Governance, IBM Identity Suites, Microsoft Entra, etc.Demonstrated mastery of multiple Identity and Access Management capabilities such as authentication, authorization, Active Directory, IGA, MFA, SSO, RBAC, ABAC, PBAC, privilege access, AWS,Clear understanding and working knowledge of IAM regulatory standards such as NIST, FINRA, NYDFS.Experience with software development methodology and practices and large-scale system implementations and deployments.Core Competencies: Finely tuned written and verbal communication skills.Broad expertise across IAM domainStrong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate actions.Organizational skills that enable one to work on several tasks simultaneously, providing management with appropriate insight into the workload and priorities.Original and innovative thinking that produces new ideas and creates innovative solutions.Pay Range: $149,000.00 - $248,300.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
