Position Purpose: The Director, Human Resources serves as a strong strategic partner to SAH guiding and managing Human Resource services, programs and policies for the entire organization. - Develop and implement HR strategies that support SAH short-term and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and implement effective performance management processes to drive employee engagement, development, accountability, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Support efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Manage employee relations issues and ensure fair and consistent resolution.
- Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Monitor market trends and benchmarking data to ensure capital remains competitive in terms of total compensation and benefit package.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to mitigate risks and promote a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Partner with legal counsel as needed to address HR-related legal matters.
- Oversee HR operations, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and support decision-making related to workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of progressive HR leadership roles. Healthcare experience preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- HR certification (e.g. SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish Speaking
- Office environment with moderate level of noise
- Frequent use of telephone, copier, computer, fax machine and other office machines
- Prolonged sitting or standing
- Frequent mental and visual concentration
- May travel occasionally for meetings, seminars, or conferences.
