Amentum is now hiring for several Risk Manager (All Levels) - CSIA positions in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:
  • Manages, plans, and coordinates risk and insurance programs of establishment to control risks and losses.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and implements corrective action against risks that may result in injury, property loss, damage, or legal liability.
  • Analyzes and classifies risks as to frequency and potential severity and measures financial impact of risk on company.
  • Selects appropriate technique to minimize loss, such as avoidance (reducing chance of loss to zero), loss prevention and reduction (reducing frequency and severity of loss), retention (including self-insurance and planned noninsurance), grouping of exposure units (to increase predictability of loss), and transfer (placement of property, activity, or risk with other establishment or insurers).
  • Directs insurance negotiations, selects insurance brokers and carriers, and places insurance.
  • Appoints claims and self-insurance administrators and allocates program costs.
  • Prepares operational and risk reports for management analysis.
  • Prepares operational and risk reports for management analysis.
  • May direct loss prevention and safety programs.
  • May select and direct activities of safety, engineering, and loss prevention experts.
  • May negotiate with unions for employee benefits.
  • Has experience in the review of program risk data, create overall view of program risk based on individual discrete risk elements; coordinate with program team to identify new creative and strategic approaches for managing risks.
  • Has experience in briefing senior staff on risk status using routine, ad hoc, written and oral reports.
  • Has experience in risk treatment by selecting and implementing measures to control and mitigate risks including activities to avoid risks, transfer risks and finance risks; and be able to monitor and review processes to ensure risk and compliance arrangements are in place.
  • Has experience in conducting audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors.
  • Has experience in creating standard and ad hoc reports as directed by senior staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline
  • 1-10+ years of experience
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.


Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $275,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
