About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Director of Development to spearhead a transformative fundraising campaign in support of our 2033 Vision. This key leader will design and execute impactful development strategies focused on raising $12M-$15M aimed at improving student experiences and modernizing residential infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of versatile fundraising experience, with at least 3 years in an educational setting, and will possess a strong Master's degree (preferred) or a Bachelor's degree (required). You will collaborate closely with the Chief Public Affairs and Development Officer and the President as a vital member of the Advancement Team, overseeing a Major Gift Officer and supporting staff.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, utilizing persuasive storytelling to effectively convey our mission and impact. A deep understanding of philanthropy programs and ethical practices is essential. Responsibilities will also include strategic guidance for a campaign steering committee, identifying and engaging major gift prospects, and maintaining high standards of philanthropy in all initiatives.
