Job Summary:
- As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities within the facility. Your primary goal is to ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing production.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns, ensuring that all equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and procedures, identifying and addressing potential hazards to create a safe working environment.
- Performance Monitoring: Track equipment performance and maintenance costs to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as experience with various maintenance tools and equipment.
- Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve conflicts.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose equipment issues and implement solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and other departments.
- Safety Awareness: A commitment to safety and the ability to identify and address potential hazards.
