CMT Lab Technician

Wanted: Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician

We"re hiring a Construction Materials Testing Technician to support materials testing, observation, and inspection on active construction projects. This role involves both fieldwork and laboratory testing and is critical to ensuring safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.

What You"ll Do

**Perform testing and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel.

**Communicate findings with project managers, clients, contractors, and team members.

**Transport material samples to the laboratory for further analysis.

**Document and submit observations and test results in written and digital formats daily.

**Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and workspaces.

**Follow strict safety protocols, including pre-task planning and hazard reporting.

**May assist with scheduling and dispatching technicians to project sites.

Job Requirements

What You Need

**Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

**Certifications: Must have ACI and CTQP certifications.

**Safety: Successful completion of internal safety certifications required.

**Driver"s License: Valid license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Certifications

**Required: ACI certifications in concrete strength and aggregate testing.

**Preferred: CTQP certifications in LBR and related testing.
