Emergency Medicine Physician

Specialty : Emergency Medicine Start date : ASAP ; End date : Ongoing Coverage type: No Call Facility is seeking a Physician to join welcoming and diverse community of providers in 24 centers. Schedule : * Up to 14 shifts per month. Preference to locums able to cover a significant number of shift. * Available to work in centers throughout * Can schedule 4 shifts in a row * Centers are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (12 Hour shifts) and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (8 hour shifts). Job Description : * Preference also to local physicians, since this is an ongoing assignment * * MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Physicians: Residency training and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM) or Med/Peds (this is required). * must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED * MUST be trained to see both adults and pediatrics. * Physicians who are board eligible must have completed board certification within 5 years of residency completion. * Board certification must be obtained during appropriate eligibility time frame. * Must treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages but generally 6 months and up) * Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays. We have onsite X-ray and EKG. * Must be comfortable with EMR. Epic training will be provided but cannot be provided prior to clearing credentialing and onboarding. * Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, rad techs as support staff (no RN/LPN support staff) * Description / Other Details: * Urgent Care clinic; Provider must see patients 6 months and up for urgent care needs. Procedures including suturing, wound care, I & Ds, splinting, X-Ray and ECG over read, place IVs. * Beautiful state of the art centers that include lab and mobile x-ray with access to additional Hospital resources. * A completed Covid vaccination card is required * must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED Other Info : * Practice Settings : Outpatient * Rounding Patients : N/A * Minimum Board Certification : Eligible * What is the license requirement to bid? : None Certification Requirements : * BLS Number Of Patients Per Shift: 36-48
