Urgent Care Physician

must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED BY AMBS (American Board of Medical Specialties or AOB American Osteopathic Board. No other alternate boards accepted.
Please provide the following:
- Providers availability for interview with the medical director (required before confirmation). Provide at least 2 WEEKS worth of availability, the more the better. I'm trying to match a very busy medical directors schedule
- Provide the providers actual monthly availability. THEY MUST BE WILLING TO WORK 12 HOUR SHIFTS
- Preference will be given to providers who can work blocks of shifts and weekends and weekdays.
-Please provide copies of active license to ensure clean background. If I have to go through and check all this it will delay things. I've already found a few that did not disclose.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Physicians: Residency training and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine , Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds (this is required).
MUST be trained to see both ADULTS AND PEDS 6 mo and up
Physicians who are board eligible must have completed board certification within 5 years of residency completion.
certification in relevant specialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Board.
We CANNOT accept Board Certification from other boards not ABMS or AOB
Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays. We have onsite X-ray and EKG.
Must be comfortable with EMR. Epic training will be provided but cannot be provided prior to clearing credentialing and onboarding.
Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, rad techs as support staff (no RN/LPN support staff)
Scheduling/Needs:
Up to 14 shifts per month. Preference to locums able to cover a significant number of shift. Preference also to local physicians, since this is an ongoing assignment
Can schedule 4 shifts in a row
Centers are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (12 Hour shifts) and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (8 hour shifts).
Physicians will not be granted any overtime.
Description / Other Details: Urgent Care clinic; Provider must see patients 6 months and up for urgent care needs. Procedures including suturing, wound care, I & Ds, splinting, X-Ray and ECG over read, place IVs.

COVID is "highly" recommended. The flu vaccine will be required beginning of this year (Mercy fiscal July-June) unless there is an exemption.
