Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking a physician (MD or DO) for locum tenens Emergency Department coverage in Cedar Falls, located in northeastern Iowa. PHYSICIAN DUTIES / FACILITY DETAILS * Physician (MD or DO) for PRN locum shifts in ED. * 12 and 24 hour shifts available (starting at 8:30); flexible scheduling * 6,000 annual ED volume (15 patients per 24 hrs.) * EMR is Cerner (training provided) * Typical timeline for credential 2 months. PHYSICIAN (MD/DO) QUALIFICATIONS * Iowa medical license and DEA/CSA * Must be board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM), Family Medicine (FM), or Internal Medicine (IM); American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS) is not accepted * Third-year EM medical residents will be considered with documentation of good standing, per residency program director. * Required life support certifications include ATLS, ACLS & PALS is waived for ABEM & AOBEM.
