Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Position: OBGYN Physician Location: AR Start Date: ASAP Length/Need: Until January or more Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed Medical Malpractice will be covered Schedule: * Clinic + Call * Call type is Beeper, Call ratio 1:2, Call back 25% * Avg call 24 hr. Details: * Practice Setting- Inpatient & Outpatient * Beds in dept: 15, Patients per shift: 5-10 * 300 deliveries per year Procedures & skills required: * Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy * FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE * OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation * Routine delivery, Vagina, Low forceps * Decision-making for c-section * Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions * Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations * Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. * Surgical gynecology - Open * Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation * Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's Requirements: * Board Certified * Active AR license * BLS * Clean Malpractice
